in Benalto, AB

$6,500

Seller note:

Made by the Walker Boat Works of Perth Ontario, this 19 foot wooden boat has a 170 horsepower Volvo Penta straight six engine Inboard outboard engine. It is in excellent shape for its age and has been well maintained throughout its life. It was built on and has spent its years on the Rideau Lakes. It was out on the water twice last year, and ran beautifully. This is a great, fast boat for regular use or for the collector of wooden boats. Jack Walker was a well-known local boat builder famous for the 30 foot model of the Haida that he built as well as for skiffs and powerboats. This is one of two boats built to this design. Price includes the double axel trailer it is sitting on in the pictures. You won't be disappointed in this boat. No Trades please. $6500 OBO Would like to sell before July 1st

In the 1950's, he started Tay-Craft boats in Perth, and later founded Walker Boats in Port Elmsley.
